Interview with Véronique, Human Resources Manager
What was your background before joining Eurofeu?
"After obtaining a Master's degree in Management Science with a specialization in Human Resources at the Sorbonne, I joined the Eurofeu group directly. I chose to join the company because of the family spirit espoused by Michel Lahouati, Eurofeu's Chairman and CEO, and because of the career opportunities it offered. What's more, Eurofeu was growing fast at the time and is still growing fast today.
What has been your career path at Eurofeu? What is your current position?
"In my 27-year career, I've worked in many different departments. I started out as a sales assistant and at the same time helped set up the after-sales service. Still in sales, I worked as a sedentary salesperson and sales assistant in the export and distributors department. Then I joined the legal department as a legal assistant. Since 2006, I've been Human Resources Manager.
What are your core values?
"The human side is something I attach a great deal of importance to, because having a certain closeness to your staff enables you to better understand each situation. Other values that may correspond to me are honesty and the term 'building together', which is also one of the Group's values."
In your opinion, what qualities are needed to do your job?
" To be able to evolve as I have in a company like Eurofeu, I think you need to be rigorous, patient, a good listener, able to make proposals and have an analytical mind."
