How do I fill an extinguisher?

Refilling an extinguisher (also known as recharging) is a standard maintenance operation, performed at regular intervals depending on the model and type of extinguisher.
Recharging an extinguisher involves replenishing it with extinguishing agent (water, powder or carbon dioxide), then readjusting the reservoir pressure in the case of a permanent pressure device, or replacing the cartridge containing the gas that enables the product to be projected, in the case of an auxiliary pressure device.
